Simulation of the Onset turbulent flow around a Isothermal Complex Geometries: an analysis of thermofluid dynamic flow

In this work, in the area of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), more specifically thermofluid dynamics for two-dimensional flows (2D), and also considering, fluid-body interaction, allied to phenomena heat-transfer by mixed convection beginning processes turbulent flow phenomenon a study is proposed that demonstrates efficiency analysis simulation these complex phenomena. We adopt an Eulerian approach fixed mesh, which intended represent dynamic movement, working together with Lagrangian latter being discretize immersed body. The strategy, allows approaching isothermal geometries, present certain aerodynamic degree on their surface, popularly known as blunt body, where this, turn, incompressible Newtonian fluid. One contributions work introduction simple but efficient method calculate Nusselt number. Regarding process validation modeling physical interest, is, regarding effectiveness methodology, called Immersed Frontier, implementation low computational cost was carried out transfer heat, well turbulence, namely, making use Spalart-Allmaras model, context URANS (Unsteady Reynolds Average Navier -Stokes) methodology. Numerical results showed good convergence data available literature, confirms numerical precision reliability adopted model.
